I had a total hysterectomy 2years ago. I needed HRT to maintain my quality of life. However, I had allergic reactions to the 3 most common HRT drugs. This drug has enabled me to return to my "normal" life. The weight gain, bloating and some of the other "effects" noted by other users, can be common to any woman going through menapaus. I am doing quite well after 18 months of use.

I have been feeling dizzy and lightheaded, cramping, stomach bloating and generally feeling bad. I had a total hysterectomy and have been taking Femtrace for 2 weeks.

I've been on hrt for 12 years and have tried, pempro and femtrace. I love femtrace but they're not making the dosage I need anymore. It did not cause bloating, stomach cramps or other abdominal symptoms. It's much better than pempro.

Since starting this drug I have experienced a 15 pound weight gain in 3 wks. My fingers, legs, and feet have swollen to the point that I could not put a shoe on, a ring on, my abdomen looks to be one of a six month pregnant person. I have about five minutes before I burst into tears or complete rage, The stomach pains have hurt so bad, I have no sex drive whatsoever and could not walk to the bedroom on these throbbing legs if I felt so compelled.I also have suffered from depression my whole life and it has made it unbearable. Also, this was the only pill prescribed... nothing else, so there has been no relief. Oh and FYI I was put in the hospital for stroke like symptoms and nobody knew why. All around I would consider this drug to be an absolute no taker for anyone that is offered it!!! Read More Read Less

Having a total hysterectomy and trying to control the menopause symptoms with natural supplements for a year and a half, it was not working at all. I had all the classic hot flashes, night sweats, sleeplessnes. The doctor prescribed Femtrace and it has been a true blessing. I've been taking it for 3+ years now and have no hot flashes, no night sweats and sleep through the night now. For me this has been a wonder drug!
