Everytime I inhaled I couldn't stop coughing. After the first two teaspoons I slept thru the night. Still have a little cough 24 hours after first dose, but not afraid to take a deep breath. I sub teach at elementary so I know where I got it. I grounded them from gym last week and they got their revenge. I'll get even. Plus, the stuff even tastes good.

My 5yr old daughter was prescribed this for a very bad cough where she was coughing so hard she was throwing up. Gave 1/2 tsp every 6 hrs. So far this is the only cough med she has been perscribed that actually work

I have acute bronchitis and take one teaspoon every 4 hours.Taken as prescribed, cough persists. If I take more than prescribed (1.5-2t), the side effects increase. Specifically, my chest feels heavy and my mouth and throat feel are very dry.

My insurance denied coverage of this medicine siting that we should purchase the otc option. The pharmacist stated that there was no such choice. We were forced to pay full price for the medicine. I am disappointed in both the insurance company as well as the pharmacy!
