It was being injected into me at a hospital because I have an ulcer either in my stomach, or slightly below my stomach close enough that stomach acid makes it hurt, and makes me vomit every 10 mins when the pain 'swells'. As it was going in, I immediately began to feel this antsy feeling, and suddenly it started to feel like I was being given catscan fluid instead. My whole body began to feel on fire in this way like I was on fire yet I also just chewed mint gum inside my veins and had cold water poured in them. My chest, neck, and face got flushed and felt warm, my heart began to beat too fast, and my stomach felt worse than ever. I had to stop it immediately. It made me begin vomiting all over again, dry heaving for 20 mins. Then the feeling slowly began to go away. After an hour and a half, it was gone. I see that this is not a side effect mentioned often, so I wanted to make sure people know that they're not going crazy and should stop immediately if this happens. But it is not a common side effect, so please don't be discouraged (my doctor told me I am the first patient to have that response).Read More Read Less
