My son has asthma, both exercise induced and part of the year allergy caused. Intal has been a miracle. He is able to be active and rarely needs his rescue inhaler. I am so please he doesn't need to use steroids!!! You can buy this drug from Canada. It is still produced in England and is the drug of choice for childhood asthma in Europe!!!

Intal was a replacement for Tilade, because the company stopped making it. Intal is not nearly as effective, costs a LOT more, and being used via nebulizer, it is not portable like an inhaler, but inconvenient and time consuming. I am very upset at having to change!

I have a mild asthsma condition, lasting maybe 25 years before starting this medication. After my doctor cleared up my lungs with cortisone sprays, he prescribed this medicine because it is not a steroid and prevents my getting colds and flus that I had been getting 4-5 times a year. He also prescribed Nasalcrom, which is the same thing only divided differently to enter the nasal passages. The latter has been made over-the-counter for many years. Yes, the drug is expensive, but it works and the insurance pays a good part of the cost.Read More Read Less

My 11 yr old son has been using an Intal inhaler with a chamber for about 3 yrs to prevent his cold air induced asthma. He used it on winter mornings and it would keep him ashtma free all day. It is no longer available. Now he has no preventative med, only albuteral once an attack happens. This is very disappointing.

Intal helps me to exercise. now that my asthma is under control, it is the one medication that helps me to stay in good shape. I am having trouble getting a refill as the pharmacy can't get the medication. I am not sure what the problem is.

I started using an Intal spinhaler in 1975. It took about a month before becoming effective, and then changed my life! I no longer have asthma attacks!
