I was diagnosed with HGSOC in January, 1999. I have been taking Zejula since I finished chemo in October, 1999. I was first put on 300mg and within 2 months had a drastic drop in platelets. I was then put on 200mg and have been on it since then, tolerating it well. My oncologist is suggesting that I discontinue, but that's not my choice. So far, my scans and CA125 tests show no sign of recurrence....

I certainly hoped that Zejula would work for me and I sincerely hope that it works for others, but that was not my experience. Within a month and a half I had to have a blood transfusion because it attacked my red blood cells. It caused my glucose levels to go up and drove my blood pressure to dangerously high levels. I simply couldn't tolerate it and I tolerated chemotherapy very well.
