Enhertu is a wonderful medication. It is working well. After three treatments, the tumor that was a size of a watermelon is now the size of a pecan. I was in lots of pain and two days after starting the medication the pain is gone. The only thing I do not like are the side effects that last for 2 weeks. You do not have the energy to do anything.

After three treatments, I developed Pneumonitis - a serious lung infection. I was advised today by the Dr. that we won’t be continuing with Enhertu. I have to take high doses of Predazone now until the infection, and resulting harsh cough, are gone or minimized to start an as yet undetermined new course of treatment.

I have tumors in my abdomen that caused me to go from 155lbs to 107lbs in only a couple months. If it wasn't for Enhertu and my nutritionist I'd be dead already. This drug has no real side effects for me but my hair did thin. I'm not 100% but pretty close to it. I'm so thankful for this new drug!

Before taking this drug I felt great, my doctor suggested taking this drug because my antigen levels were high, now I'm not a fan of any drug that take away your quality of life. My gut said don't take it you should always go with your gut it's telling you something, I did take the drug, I could not go back and undo the decision, toll thus day I regret the choice I have not recovered from thus drug I'm experiencing something I can't imagine and it's not good the poison that's in this drug is life changing and not in a good way. I a hood support groups from my care provider. It just don't help my energy I need back I'm depressed not motivated and that's not me. I'm not a person that gives in or gives up I'm not giving up now just venting I will fight this feeling and that's what this is. I'm no longer on b this drug but is feeling the side effects of this drug. I have also understand that once it's on your system it takes maybe awhile to get out again Judy venting I don't like this drug because of the effect that it has on my quality of life may everyone recovery and heal Read More Read Less

I found this drug difficult to tolerate, I was physically ill for 3 weeks, and still after 3 months I am still feeling like a dishrag. I have taken many chemo drugs over the past decade and never experienced anything like this . I wish they had done more clinical trials, over a longer term, and less hype before the FDA pushed this drug ahead. I saw no miraculous results, just low counts, and totally feeling unwell still.I would not take it again at this time . It may work for some , and that is great, but I am out on this one. I would be interested in seeing some long term results from this drug, I would consider this drug still in the experimental stage due to lack of full stage clinical trials. , and would need to see positive as well as negative long term results.Read More Read Less

The chemotherapy has been the worst I have every experienced. having had breast cancer for 7 years, I have been through many treatments. This one brought me physically to my knees and then began wearing me down emotionally. I never suffered from despair or depression until I was placed on this treatment. I found myself on the couch crying more frequently than I have ever experienced. The exhaustion is crippling and the weakness - all over body strain - is remarkable. The challenges last for a good 7-10 days where your couch and your bed become your home and then you find yourself having to muster up the courage to walk through the infusion lab again which is damn near impossible. I have just received my second dose. My markers after the first dose have dropped by nearly half. Side effects are not too bad, I'm feeling much better and able to do more in the last month than the previous year while on Taxetere and Kadcyla, which did nothing. Also following meditation routine to realign brain and body connections. Enjoying life now.

Its heaven and hell for me. I am thankful but when my doctor constantly refers to it as poison I feel like Im poisoning myself. Yes the tumor shrinks yes the pain is gone yes my boob feels soft again and yes my marker is normal but the side effects are many and makes me cry. The last infusion side effects lasted nearly 2 weeks and I looked like I was high on something to people that dont know my journey. When I finally looked and felt myself again its time for another infusion and I wanna cry. God bless us all and those that support us no matter what. ??????Read More Read Less
