I am in my mid-50s and consider myself to be in good health. I eat good and exercise regularly however high cholesterol runs in my family and my father had a heart attack at 58 years old he was 99% clogged in his major artery. My cholesterol has always been a little high and I have been on a statin for the last 10 years or so, however my LDL has been hovering around 100 for the last five years, my...

I can't take stations due to muscle pains it causes. I started taking Nextletol with no pains at all. What is unknown until you get blood work done. I had a normal GFR of 94 before taking this medication. 2 months of taking this drug, My GFR is 59 stage 3 kidney disease!! I quit taking this poison. Hopefully, I can try to repair the damage done to my kidneys. Beware!

My doctor suggested Nexlizet because I don't like PCSK9 injections. No side effects. Must try.

While it did lower my cholesterol, the side experiences were debilitating. Kind of like the cure was worse more than what was going on. I thought I was experiencing a sports injury. I felt like the tendons in my foot instep were ripping apart. Then I started feeling the same type of thing in my obliques. I came upon something that suggested that maybe there would be these types of side effects from the medication. I stopped taking it and within two week side effects were completely gone. I started taking it again and within a week the side effects came back. I stopped taking it again. The side effects were gone. This drug is absolutely not for me.Read More Read Less

I urge anyone that can't get their LDL levels down to try Nexlizet, I have been taking this since May this year, works very well, and have no side effects for me.

I started getting serious muscle pains taking a statin and my doctor had me try other statins and my pain had gotten worse. My doctor then suggested this new drug Nexletol, within in the 2 weeks my muscle pain had gone. I have no side effects and feel great.

I don't like injections & Nexlizet was the only pill option. I have no side effects other than more energy which is a great thing. I highly recommend Nexlizet over Repatha especially if you have a family history of cancer. Repatha can be linked to cancer now.

My cholesterol has always been a little high and I have been on a statin for the last 10 years or so, however my LDL has been hovering around 100 for the last five years, my doctor did not like that combined with my family history and my high blood pressure he wanted to add something to my statintherapy, he suggested repatha but I didn’t want an injection, I countered and asked if I could try Nexlizet and he said sure, he already has some statin intolerant patients on it. Well it didn’t take long, out of nowhere my total cholesterol was under 100 and my LDL was under 60 (both for the first time in over 5 years) it wasn’t a coincidence, the medicine works. I was eager to try the 180 Mg/10 dosage since my cholesterol is very high. I had side effects which caused me to discontinue after 5 weeks. I had severe leg, back and stomach cramps and spasms. I also had a rash and hives on my left side. This product includes a small amount of Zetia to which I am allergic to.
