I was given this drug intravenously for septoplasty, turbinate reduction and belphoroplasty. I developed a rash on my neck which grew up to cover the entire right side of my neck and up to my face, chin and cheeks. Took two weeks to clear with medication from dermatologist. All insist it couldn't be from this drug, but nothing else new introduced. Am getting medication that anesthesiologist used just in case it was that.

I was given this drug during a surgical procedure. It resulted in a rash and difficulty breathing. I am 2 days post-op and neither symptom is clearing. I will advise doctors in the future that I am allergic to this drug.
