My 6 yr old son has had constipation issues ince birth his dr recommended to give him miralax and stool softener Pharmacy recommended colace docusate sodium I gave him 2 doses in 2 days and he since then had to be rushed To ERoom with severe abdominal pain bloody mucus stool the pain has yet to improve it has been a week he was transferred to another hospital where he was admitted ran every test possible and found nothing wrong sent him home still in pain with anti spasm medicine if anyone else has shared this except please reach out I need answers if this potentially could be the colace I'd like to know what I can do to help my poor fella

Much milder than a regular laxative. Can use daily and I haven't had any bad side effects.
