DuPont Guerry IV, MD, is an internationally renowned melanoma expert who is the director of the Melanoma Program and professor of medicine at the Abrahamson Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania. His vital research has brought much light to understanding melanoma. Guerry is an expert at taking the latest research and discerning what is important to the patient and whether the study was conducted judiciously. He also has treated a multitude of patients with the disease and knows how to explain the details of it explicitly. He is co-author, with Catherine M. Poole, of Melanoma: Prevention, Detection, and Treatment.
