Ellen Stokes, MS, RD, LD, is a registered and licensed dietitian as well as an Emmy-nominated video producer, director, and writer. Stokes is the president of Peach Productions, a nutrition communications company, which provides multimedia services in nutrition education, food safety, special-needs menu planning, grocery shopping, and healthful cooking on a budget.
Peach Productions has worked with numerous organizations and companies including the Partnership for Food Safety Education, Golden Cuisine, the University of Georgia Food Science Department, and the Calorie Control Council.
Stokes formerly worked for CNN as a writer and producer. She left in 2006 to pursue a master’s degree in nutrition from Georgia State University, where she currently teaches nutrition and food safety.
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
