Does acupuncture work as treatment for epilepsy?

ANSWER

Acupuncture uses thin needles inserted into your skin at various points around your body. It may help with arthritis pain and headaches, but there isn’t much proof that acupuncture improves epilepsy symptoms or cut down on seizures.

Acupuncture is safe when it's done correctly. Work only with practitioner who is licensed in your state and has experience treating epilepsy.
