How well does a corpus callosotomy work?

ANSWER

Corpus callosotomy stops drop attacks, or atonic seizures where a person suddenly loses muscle tone and falls to the ground, about 50% to 75% of the time. This means the person is less likely to get hurt, and it improves the quality of their life.
