What is Perampanel (Fycompa)?

This drug is prescribed for treatment of epilepsy. Perampanel is approved to treat partial onset seizures and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in people 12 and older. Side effects can be serious and include aggression, anger, anxiety, paranoia, euphoric mood, agitation, and changes in mental status.
