What are some ways to treat trichiasis?

ANSWER

Your doctor may use little forceps to pluck out the pesky lashes. This is the most common way to treat it. They usually come out easily and don't hurt. Your lashes will grow back in three to five months, but there’s still a chance they’ll come in the wrong way. Surgery is an option.
