Does L-carnitine help improve fibromyalgia symptoms?

ANSWER

There haven't been a lot of studies on this topic, and you should check with your doctor before you try any supplement. L-carnitine may give some relief from fatigue in people with fibromyalgia. Some researchers say that while more studies are warranted, L-carnitine may provide support for the muscular system in people with fibromyalgia.
