How is fibromyalgia treated in teens and children?

ANSWER

There's currently no cure for fibromyalgia in children (or adults), but treatment includes:

  • Pain-management strategies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, deep breathing or meditation
  • Medication
  • Exercise
  • Physical therapy
