What precautions should you take while on Savella?

ANSWER

Take these precautions while on Savella:

  • Don't drive or use machinery until you're sure it doesn't affect your mental or physical abilities.
  • Don't drink alcohol.
  • Talk with your doctor before stopping Savella -- don't stop suddenly. This can cause withdrawal symptoms.
  • Tell your doctor if you start taking any other medications, including over-the-counter drugs.
