How do I treat an inflamed eyelid?

ANSWER

If your eyelids are inflamed:

• Wash your hands. • With your eyes closed, clean your eyelids with diluted baby shampoo, using a clean cotton ball for each eye. • Rinse with cool water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Repeat this process twice daily. Avoid wearing contact lenses until the condition has cleared up.
