How can you prevent lactic acidosis?

ANSWER

Lactic acidosis is when you feel burning muscles, cramps, nausea, and weakness after a workout or strenuous activity Up the amount of exercise slowly so your body builds up a tolerance. This will increase your "lactate threshold." Drink lots of water. It helps get rid of any excess acid. Eat a balanced diet that includes lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats. Get plenty of sleep and rest between bouts of exercise. If your lactic acidosis is caused by a disease or medication, talk to your doctor.
