If you're feeling sluggish or tired, try this breathing exercise to boost your energy and sharpen your mental focus. Get comfortable and relaxed, and just start to exhale through the nose. It's a short, forceful burst. You can feel the belly. The belly pumps in as you exhale through the nose.


It's really good to just focus on the exhale. You can go at your own pace. But remember to do that short exhale through the nose as you pump the belly in.


If you're just starting out, just do it for about a minute. And when you're complete, just come back to normal breathing, inhaling through the nostrils, exhaling through the nostrils. Take a big breath in. And lightly hold the breath. And then release the breath. And notice how you feel.
