Harry F. Albers, DDS

Harry F. Albers, DDS, is the executive director of the Academy of Cosmetic and Adhesive Dentistry. Over the past 24 years he has written several dental texts and lectured extensively on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. His most popular program is a four- year comprehensive study group on all phases of cosmetic and adhesive dentistry, given at the University of California Dental School in San Francisco. Albers is editor of the ADEPT Report, a highly acclaimed newsletter to update dental professionals on advances in adhesive and cosmetic dentistry. He has also authored Tooth Colored Restoratives, presently in its eighth edition, which is considered industry standard for the selection and use of direct esthetic restoratives.

Among his numerous awards, in 1994 Albers was named the "Weclew Honorary Fellow" by the Academy of General Dentistry. It is the highest recognition the Academy of General Dentistry has to honor dentists who have made outstanding contributions to the art and science of dentistry and demonstrated exceptional interest in the advancement of dentistry.

Albers maintains a private practice in Santa Rosa, Calif., where he has lived since 1978.
