Exclusions, also called limitations

Exclusions are health care services or medical equipment that your health plan doesn't pay for. This may include things like cosmetic surgery or travel immunizations. Before joining a health plan, be sure to find out about that health plan's exclusions. That way you won't get surprised with a big bill for something you thought was covered.
