How is kidney disease treated?

ANSWER

The most important treatment for high blood pressure and kidney disease is to control your blood pressure through lifestyle changes. That includes weight loss, regular exercise, and a health diet. Drugs, like ACE inhibitor and angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), lower blood pressure and can protect the kidneys from further damage.
