The most common side effects are:

  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Urinary tract infections

  • Stomach pain
  • Rash

This drug raises your risk of a rare but potentially fatal brain infection called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. It can also cause allergic reactions and liver damage.
