Isabeau Vollhardt

Isabeau Vollhardt, LAc, received her BA in Philosophy from the University of Washington in 1980. In 1984, while living in Los Angeles, she became what is still the typical acupuncture patient: the patient of last resort. In 1996, Isabeau received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Samra University of Oriental Medicine, one of the oldest acupuncture schools in the United States. Ninety percent of her instructors and clinic supervisors were physicians and acupuncturists from Beijing and Shanghai, China. She holds the NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture and Herbology, and is licensed to practice acupuncture in Oregon. She serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of the World Institute of Holistic Therapies, and she also has an educational website on acupuncture and oriental medicine: Traditional Oriental Paths to Wellness
