Jeff Golub-Evans, DDS, a cosmetic dentist practicing in New York, is considered to be one of the premier "smile artists" in the country. He pioneered the concept in 1982 (actually coining the phrase "smile design") and has since produced thousands of dental makeovers for fashion models, rock stars, actors, and executives, as well as everyday people. Golub-Evans is an accomplished water colorist, oil painter, and printmaker whose pieces have hung in prestigious galleries and museums across the country, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He is an associate clinical professor at New York University's (NYU) department of dental materials science and restorative dentistry and director of cosmetic and esthetic programs at NYU's Center for Continuing Dental Education.
