Joyce A. Walsleben, PhD

Joyce A. Walsleben, PhD, is an internationally recognized authority in the field of sleep disorders. She is the director of the NYU Sleep Disorders Center and oversees patient care and training of staff. As a clinician and researcher, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, and narcolepsy.

Regularly cited as an expert in both print and broadcast media, Walsleben has been quoted in the New York Times, Newsday, and several health-related books, including Dr. Bob Arnot’s Guide to Turning Back the Clock. She also has appeared on Today, Good Morning America, and the Lifetime network, among others.
