Keith A. Eddleman, MD

Keith A. Eddleman, MD is the division director of maternal-fetal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Additionally, he is associate professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences and associate professor of human genetics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Eddleman earned his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University (1985), followed by residency at George Washington University Hospital (1985-89) and subspecialty fellowships in maternal-fetal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center (1989-91) and clinical genetics at Cornell Medical Center (1993-1996). He became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 1993, and in maternal-fetal medicine in 1995. He also is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners (1986) and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Medical Genetics (1999).

A frequent invited speaker at medical meetings and conferences worldwide, Eddleman appears often on television to discuss issues concerning the care of pregnant women. He has written numerous articles for both medical and nonmedical journals. He and his partner, Joanne Stone, MD, wrote Pregnancy for Dummies, and edited The Pregnancy Bible.
