Laurie A. Rich is a lawyer, writer, editor, and media consultant, with broad experience writing about the fields of medicine, science, business, and the environment. She is the author of When Pregnancy Isn't Perfect: A Layperson's Guide to Complications in Pregnancy. A graduate of Brandeis University and Northeastern University School of Law, she lives in upstate New York with her husband and two healthy children.
