Lea Ann Leming is Vice President of Audience Development at WebMD. In her role, she oversees audience growth, diversification, and engagement. Areas of oversight include content strategy, content programming, social, SEO, newsletters, and digital marketing.
Prior to joining WebMD in June 2016, Leming served as chief content officer for SheKnows Media, where she oversaw editorial and video across multiple brands and helped steer the successful integration of two acquisitions: BlogHer and StyleCaster.
Previously, Leming was executive producer of ABC News Digital, where she led editorial for ABCNews.com. She came to ABC from Turner Broadcasting, where her roles included head of digital for Headline News, vice president of content strategy for CNN Digital, and VP roles in Turner Corporate Strategy and New Products. Leming was a founding member of CNN.com and CNNfn.com (now CNNMoney.com).
In 2014, Leming was named one of Folio's Top Women in Media for Industry Leadership, and she is an alumna of Women in Cable & Telecom’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. Her work has contributed to team wins for the George Foster Peabody Award, Edward R. Murrow Award, and the Webby.
