Linda Felver has been involved in gerontological nursing for over 20 years. She teaches at the School of Nursing at Oregon Health Sciences University. Recipient of numerous teaching awards, Dr. Felver was recently awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award for Outstanding Teaching at Oregon Health Sciences University.
She has also taught at Washington State University (Intercollegiate Center for Nursing Education), has been chairperson of the Gerontological Interest Group for Washington State Nurses Association, and serves on the Nursing Practice Advisory Panel for the United States Pharmacopeia. Her major interest is healthy aging; she is currently involved in research regarding exercise and aging.
