What immunotherapy drugs have shown promise in treating lung cancer?

ANSWER

Atezolizumab (Tecentriq), durvalumab (Imfinzi),  nivolumab (Opdivo) and pembrolizumab (Keytruda) are immunotherapy drugs that block a protein that keeps the body from fighting cancer.  These drugs are given by IV infusion every 2 – 3 weeks.
