What kinds of surgery can treat lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) lung disease?
ANSWER
People with LAM lung disease who get pneumothorax (collapsed lung) generally must get procedures to reinflate the collapsed lung, and prevent it from happening again. If the disease advances and becomes disabling, a lung transplant may be an option.
