What are risks of taking antidepressants for anorexia?

ANSWER

Some antidepressants can cause children and young people to think about suicide. They’ll need to be watched closely for any signs that they may harm themselves. Also alcohol and drugs can worsen depression, or make you feel sleepy. In case of an overdose, call 911 or the poison control center at 800-222-1222 right away.
