How is schizoid personality disorder treated?
ANSWER
Psychotherapy -- a form of counseling -- is the treatment most often used. Treatment likely will focus on increasing your skills at managing symptoms, as well as on improving social interaction, communication, and self-esteem. Social skills training also can be an important part of your treatment.
