Who causes antisocial personality disorder (ASPD)?

ANSWER

Experts don’t know for sure what leads to antisocial personality disorder. But genetics and other biological factors are thought to play a role. So might growing up in a traumatic or abusive home or environment. Brain defects and injuries during childhood may also be linked to ASPD. Men are more likely than women to have the condition.
