DENNIS BOURDETTE
All of the things that are white on this particular image are MS lesions.

The complete answer to MS is not just taking a pill or an injection or an IV infusion. There is increasing evidence that a diet that's high in fat and being overweight promotes inflammation in the body, and, therefore, would be something that would aggravate MS. So we believe very strongly that people with MS should be on a low-fat diet. And they should be working to normalize their weight. If they have high blood pressure or diabetes or elevated lipids, those need to be dealt with. They smoke, they need to stop smoking.

The bottom line is, eat right, exercise, and deal with stress. And I believe strongly that those are part of the equation to controlling the disease.
