How should I brush my teeth?

ANSWER

To brush your teeth:

  • Use a pea-sized dab of fluoride toothpaste and a soft toothbrush.
  • Place the toothbrush against the teeth at a 45-degree angle up to the gum line.
  • Brush teeth and gums gently with a small circular motion. Let the bristles reach into spaces between teeth.
  • Give your tongue a few gentle strokes. This helps remove bacteria and freshens your breath.
  • After brushing your teeth 2-3 minutes, rinse with water.
  • Replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months.
