What do new dentures feel like?

ANSWER

It may feel a little odd or loose for a few weeks until your tongue and tongue muscles learn to keep the dentures in place. It also takes time for you to get comfortable inserting and removing them. It’s common to have minor irritation or soreness at first. You also may notice more saliva than usual, but these issues should go away in time.
