How can exercise help with cervical disc disease?

ANSWER

Research is shows it's an effective way to treat neck pain. One study showed exercise with resistance bands and light weights eased neck pain and disability. It's also important to keep active in general. Thirty minutes of aerobic exercise like walking, biking, or swimming every day can keep your back muscles strong.
