You want to pamper your cute baby. Here's how to keep skin care simple and healthy. When you're shopping for baby basics like creams or cleansers, look for terms like fragrance-free, die-free, and hypoallergenic. These types of products are a lot less likely to irritate your little one's skin.

If your baby is six months or older, it's safe to put sunscreen on them. Choose one that's broad spectrum and has an SPF of at least 30. Choose zinc oxide or titanium dioxide formulas. Those ingredients help block damaging UV rays, and are less likely to irritate her skin. Avoid chemical sunscreens if you can, especially those with oxybenzone, but any sunscreen is better than no sunscreen. Less is more when it comes to your baby's skin care. The fewer products you use, the better.
