What are some tips to keep my 15-month-old child safe?

ANSWER

Your baby is now a toddler, walking and throwing and getting around much more quickly. Help keep them safe with these tips:

  • Keep cords, choking hazards, and hard, sharp, or breakable objects out of reach.
  • Move household cleaners and detergents to high shelves or behind locked cabinets.
  • Cover all electrical sockets.
  • Keep the bathroom door closed and the toilet seat down.
  • Put the crib mattress at its lowest level.
