Patricia A. Goldman

Patricia A. Goldman, a retired airline executive and former government appointee, serves on the boards of directors of Crown Central Petroleum Company, the Erie Indemnity Company, and the National Postal Forum. In her nonprofit work she serves on the boards of the Chautauqua Foundation, the Chautauqua Institution, and The WISH LIST.

Recently Goldman has been devoting the majority of her time to the founding and development of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, an advocacy organization that unites organizations and individuals in the fight against ovarian cancer. Goldman serves as president of the alliance, which is based in Washington, D.C.

Goldman retired from USAir, now US Airways, in 1994. She served as senior vice-president for corporate communications.

Prior to joining USAir, Goldman was a member of the National Transportation Safety Board. She was appointed to the board and to the position of board vice-chairman by President Reagan.
