    Treatments

To help you understand your treatment options, we’ve assembled the best information on women’s and men’s conditions. It will help you make decisions.

    1. Increasing Sexual Desire

Treatment is not needed for all sexual problems. Some problems can be solved by you and your partner alone with a little openness and creativity.

    2. Treatments for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)

Don't try to treat a sexually transmitted disease, or STD, yourself. These diseases are contagious and serious. You must see a doctor.

    3. Syphilis Treatment

If caught early, syphilis may be cured with antibiotics.

    4. Gonorrhea Treatment

Gonorrhea causes no long-term problems if it is treated early in the course of the infection before any complications develop.

    5. Chlamydia Treatment

With treatment, the infection should clear up in about a week. Do not have sex until you have taken all of your medication, and do not stop taking the antibiotics even if you feel better.

    6. Sex Therapy & Other Counseling

Learn about various types of sex and relationship counseling and therapies.

    7. Genital Herpes Treatment

Treatment with antiviral drugs can help people who are bothered by genital herpes outbreaks stay symptom-free longer.

    8. HPV Cure?

Simply testing positive for HPV may not mean you will need treatment, at least not immediately. After a positive HPV test, your doctor may suggest close monitoring.
