How do I bathe a child with eczema?

ANSWER

  • Use lukewarm water. Hot water can make eczema worse.
  • Limit your use of soap and ask your doctor what type of soap you should use.
  • Rinse your child's skin twice to get all the soap off.
  • Keep baths short. A lot of time in the water can be irritating.
