Pityriasis lichenoides. This form of the skin condition pityriasis lichenoides is called pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA). It starts as bright red oval spots which evolve into small blisters and pustules that eventually ulcerate and crust over. It’s unclear what triggers the condition but it usually resolves itself without treatment.
