Pityriasis rubra pilaris. PRP is a rare skin disorder in which salmon-colored patches of flakey and often itchy skin develop on the body. Thickened bumps can develop around hair follicles, sometimes causing hair to fall out. It also causes a thickening of the skin of the hands and feet.
