Telangiectasias

Telangiectasias are clusters of small, widened blood vessels which develop near the surface of the skin of mucous membranes. They are commonly known as spider veins. Healthy people can develop them but they can also be symptoms of certain autoimmune disease that affect skin and connective tissues.
