Blisters - Check Your Symptoms

Call a doctor if:

  • You have signs of infection. These may include increased pain, swelling, redness, or warmth; red streaks leading from the blister; pus; and fever.
  • You get blisters often and do not know why.
  • You have a band of painful blisters on one side of your body or face.
  • You have diabetes or peripheral artery disease, and you get blisters on your hands, feet, or legs.
